Dr. Rachel Daltry (she/her) is a licensed
psychologist practicing in Wilmington,
Delaware.
Dr. Daltry earned her doctorate from the
APA-accredited Psy.D. program at La Salle
University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She completed her Post Doctoral Fellowship
at the University of Delaware's Center for
Counseling and Student Development.
Dr. Daltry currently works at West Chester
University's Counseling Center in addition to
her private practice. She is licensed in both
Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Dr. Daltry works with adolescents and adults of all ages presenting with a broad range of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, stress management and procrastination issues, life transitions, LGBTQ issues, difficulties in relationships with others and relationship with yourself. She specializes in working with athletes and those facing performance enhancement problems (i.e. athletes, musicians, doctors, artists, etc).
While she has an integrative therapy approach, Dr. Daltry works from a Cognitive Behavioral and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework. She also incorporates Mindfulness into her work. This allows Dr. Daltry to focus on helping her clients learn how to manage their difficulties better so they can live their life in line with what is important to them and their values.
